Photographer and costume designer Kirsty Mitchell wanted to do a small project-no more than 6 months-to overcome her terrible grief over losing her mother.
It ended up taking her and hairstylist and makeup artist Elbie van Eeden on a five-year photo journey, with the resulting 73 photo story being touted by art critics and the public all over the world.
