Tognini chose a revolutionary approach to coloring hair. Rather than using dye, chemicals, or paint, this master used light. "The best sound in the world is when hair hits the ground especially falling off a short-haired blonde chick," says Tognini. "This collection was all about girls rocking short hair, with fresh color."

At the recent Golden Globes, actress Laura Dern looked radiant and gilded from head to toe. She flaunted a shimmering dress that was reminicent of old Hollywood glamour, and her hair was a cascade of strawberry blonde waves. The Oscar nominated and Golden Globe winning actress presented her father's nominated film, Nebraska, which starred the legendary actor Bruce Dern.
