Frizz was considered fabulous until about 1940.

Sometimes you can strike beauty gold.

Shown: 1950 Marilyn Monroe pin-curl set and finished style.

Little Richard (1950) and Rihanna (2009) wore identical pompadours nearly 60 years apart!
